Opening Dates for Deptford’s HomeGoods and Ulta stores.

Deptford welcomes 2 new stores in October… and they are next to each other on Almonesson Rd, in the Barnes and Noble shopping center.

Opening first is the eagerly awaited HomeGoods.  Their website store locator says the Grand Opening will be Ocotober 12th at 8am.   It is also states that they don’t really consider this a “new” store as much as its a relocation of the Delran store.   Unfortunate news for the Delran area.

An interesting thing about the HomeGoods store, is they share a parent company with TJ Maxx  and Marshalls’s who have stores in the Deptford Crossing complex off of Clements Bridge Road, and instead of putting the Homegoods store near its sister brands… they opted for the Barnes and Noble center.

Up next is Ulta who opens up two weeks later on October 24th and will be located next to the Homegoods store.

The two stores are in the former location of the Bed Bath and Beyond, which of course is around the corner with the Christmas Tree Store.

But keep an eye on the stores the days leading up to the published opening as they typical have a “soft” opening ahead of the Grand Opening

Both stores have been hiring.  In fact HomeGoods set up a hiring location within the Fairfield in.  But do a web search for both stores to find the latest information and job opportunities.

Burlington Coat Factory Deptford construction starting

Reported several weeks ago, The Burlington Coat Factory is coming to Deptford, and it looks like they are getting ready to start construction!   The location of the store is confirmed to be be in the old Sam’s Club location in the Court of Deptford.  The small twist is that the former Sam’s location will be split in half, with the Burlington store taking the right half, next to Ross.   Both stores are discount clothiers, so it could prove to be a power combination with them drawing customer’s to each other’s location.

This article’s featured images above shows the construction fencing is in place, but the clearest evidence comes from the website of property owner DLC Management.   A drawing of the facility used for leasing clearly indicates the location of the Burlington Coat Factory.

No word yet if this has any impact on the nearby Washington Twp store, but as it stands now Rt 42 could be home to two Burlington stores.

A few other additional store names have popped up in the rumor mill for this Deptford center … but until there is more info it we’ll be quiet.

Deptford Outback open during remodeling

The Deptford outback restaurant is undergoing a remodel, while still remaining open. The location shares a building with the Bonefish Grille, which seems to be unaffected.

Seems like a other positive influence from the new Christmas Tree Stores center, making this corner of the Deptford Mall district very popular for more new stores and upgrades.
