It’s been widely reported that the Dave and Busters coming to Gloucester Premium Outlets is opening Spring 2020. But no one knows when the Round One venue at the Deptford Mall will be opening… until now. 42Freeway has literally translated the Round One Japanese Quarterly earnings report to get the expected opening date for the Deptford Mall store, and it’s surprising. Also, this is a two-part post as we interviewed a Dave and Busters Executive who knows the business and our area, and I should be posting that Friday!

Interior construction is well under way for a new Dollar Tree store on Hurffville Rd Deptford, in front of the Home Depot. The location was previously an Anytime Fitness.  The business shares the building with Autozone Auto Parts.

The new At Home store coming to Turnersville’s old The Dump location, is showing significant signs of progress and remodeling. It appears they will be removing the tell-tale angular Jefferson Ward/Bradlees front entrance. We believe they are targeting an opening ahead of this year’s holiday season.

The August 2019 Deptford Planning Board will see the Deptford Movies developer appearing again, to get final approvals on their project ahead of development. They have had approvals before, but this seems to be an indication that some aspects of the project changed. Still core to it tho are the movie theater and a separate larger restaurant.

The Deptford Center Shopping Center is slated to double in size by building out the back of the property, and adding TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Home Sense, and Joanne Fabrics…. adding to the already existing Target and BJ’s! Metro Commercial documents online indicate an Spring 2020 opening, but that is probably going to change.
