Washington Township residents Mikki and Mike McIntyre have created the most incredible place for your pet… the Fetch Pet Resort on Delsea Drive in Sewell/Washington Township! And using the word “Resort” is not an overstatement… when my wife and I toured the facility last week we were jealous ’cause we wanted to stay there! And on Saturday February 8th is there grand opening celebration from 11am to 3pm! Facebook event for the Grand Opening! (Yes it’s the day of this post, so get over there!)
If you don’t have a judgement of size, trust me 10,000 sq feet is huge and the building is separated out into distinctive areas… from general play areas to Penthouse suites… which actually look like little houses in a Jersey shore themed area! And if the inside building isn’t enough cool features to keep your pet occupied while you work or travel, outside is another 18,000 sq ft of meticulously designed and constructed play areas.
The Fetch Pet Resort is located on Delsea Drive (Rt 47) but sits back off the road a bit. It’s is directly across from Service Automotive and the entrance drive runs alongside the large front parking lot for the community church located there. It’s a great location for towns all over South Jersey and with Delsea Drive being a major shore-bound route (not to mention 55 and 42 are very close), this could easily be your “let’s drop Rover off at Fetch on the way to Wildwood for the weekend” place!
The McIntyre’s spared no expense with the building remodel and animal friendly features. The entire facility is absolutely beautiful with a lot of care going into functionality and theming. Basically every aspect is new, down to every almost every inch of wiring. They outdoor K9 Artificial Turf is made specially for pet and animal safety and is so innovative it seems it gave a little pause to State officials to research it before approvals! Speaking of approvals, the McIntyre’s had nothing but praise for local Washington Township officials and government representatives. Everyone responded quickly, were very reasonable in the approval process.. literally the McIntyre’s said it couldn’t have gone better!
More details are best provided by the owners, and the following is taken from their press release. Plus.. ugh.. I really wanted to have this out earlier!
