Despite a lot of rain over the last 24 mos, the massive 465,000 sq ft Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill looks like it will make its goal of opening in late 2019.
The new hospital sits on a 100 acre campus at the intersection of 322 and Rt 55, next to Rowan’s West Campus. The $356 million dollar facility broke ground just in May 2017. It features 210 private rooms, with all new state of the art technology throughout. Everything is new!
The hospital is presented as a replacement for the Woodbury NJ Hospital and it was approved because of the limited growth space and other factors. But don’t worry… the Woodbury location will remain open and still maintaining widely used ER services. Quoting the Inspira website:

At the opening the new Mullica Hill location will have 1,400 employees working there… which brings me to:
Right now on the Inspira career website there are 110 job postings representing even more jobs. It’s not all medical positions… they are staffing everything, so there are openings in Material Management, kitchen security and more. Well, check out their career site. I couldn’t get a direct link to the Mullica Hill jobs so you’ll have to select it from the map.
This area is primed to become a booming corridor for commercial, medical, and education. Rowan University is down the road, the South Jersey Tech park is across the street (and possibly welcoming a large GoPuff facility), and the massive and forever delayed Richwood Village project is across Rt 55. I’ll have more on that this week!
