Sugar Coated By Whitney is latest addition to Westville’s growing Downtown Broadway area! The bakery is owned by Whitney and John, and they are so local.. they live right in Westville!! While it’s clear there is an extra love for cupcakes in Whitney’s baking heart… the small batch bakery carries a huge variety of other goodies! With us being in the heart of the Holiday Season, this is the perfect weekend to visit Sugar Coated to taste and put in your Holiday order… and then walk 50ft down the road to Westville Brewery!,

They use their Facebook page to keep in touch with customers and inform of what’s available and at the bottom of this post I list out what is on this week’s menu. From their Facebook page they are a:

The bakery is located just steps away from the popular Westville Brewery, Speranza Wood Fired Kitchen, Lorenzo’s Cabana and the beloved Schileen’s Pub… and across from Schileen’s is Grabbe’s Seafood and bar! You can literally park your car in one place and hit all of these places and more… all just being minutes away from each other!

I’m not one to shy away from a delicious baked good, but I am also no expert either. That being said… Whitney really has a knack for baking, both in taste and appearance. The creativity and appearance really shine through in their products! Their photos on Facebook and Instagram look like they are from a magazine!

Holiday Entertaining Time: Get Your Orders In!

42Freeway visited several Sugar Coated soon after their September opening… and we are very sorry Whitney for not getting a post up sooner! But it’s Holiday entertaining time, and probably an even better time for people to get excited about Sugar Coated by Whitney, and to stop over and check out all the delicious goodies you have to offer!

Sugar Coated is open Thurs – Sunday and they will be in the store today (Saturday) from Noon to 10pm and Noon to 6pm Sunday. Stop over to say hi to Whitney and purchase some delicious treats, put in your Holiday order, and then stop over to Westville Brewery for a beer! The brewery is literally 50 feet away and can be seen in the photo I took of Sugar Coated!
